# the S/P/A track for when your adversary has a face.
under constructionS/P/A plans for advertisers, brokers and whoever buys the next breach. This page will be for the other case: a specific person with time, access and a reason — an ex, a harasser, a hostile relative. It isn't written yet, and a half-written page on this subject is worse than none.
# one thing to do today
If the person lives with you or can get your phone in hand, turn off Face ID and fingerprint unlock, and change your passcode to one they've never seen you type. Someone nearby can hold a phone to your face while you sleep or press your finger to it; nobody can make you remember a passcode. iPhone: Settings → Face ID & Passcode. Android: Settings → Security (or search Settings for "fingerprint" and "face unlock").
# until then, the people who already do this well
If someone is a danger to you right now, the people to call are not on this site. In the US, 911 for an emergency; the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, text START to 88788, or thehotline.org (chat). Use a device the person can't see.
